Died suddenly on August 11, 2013 at the age of 78. Preceded in death by his parents William and Martha, and infant brother Robert. Loving husband of Marilyn (nee Melms). Dear father of Robert (Mary) and Sheri Stack. Cherished grandfather of Christopher (fiance Allison), Joseph, Chris (Andrea), Josh, Susan, Joshua (Rachel), Candice (Michael) and Jacob. Further survived by his great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Judi Melms, Barbara Sienko, Linda Knoblock and Susan (Bob) Dertz. Brothers-in-law Tom (Mona) Melms, John (Diane) Johnson, and David (Kris) Johnson. Pets Izzy, Muffie, and JoJo, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was in the 3rd Armored Division in Germany. He was a member and past Master of Lake Lodge No. 189 F.& A.M., a longtime member of Crystal Lake Golf Club and the Allen Bradley Retirees., having worked there for 38 years.
