William R. Lassanske

April 1 st 1953 to June 1 st 2023

On Thursday June 1 st , 2023, Bill passed away unexpectedly. Bill had been battling heart disease and kidney failure for several years, but never gave up, and kept fighting to spend as much time as he could on earth, with his family. For those of you who had the pleasure of meeting Bill, you knew that he was fiercely loyal and protective of his family and close friends.

Bill was a husband, a father, and a grandfather. As a Husband he was dedicated and looked out for his wife. As a Father, we could not have asked for anyone better. Bill would always be there for his children when they needed him. As a grandfather, Bill loved nothing more than spending time and conversing with his grandchildren, whether it be attending school functions, school plays, kids sports games, talking on the phone,etc, he always took an interest in what they were doing and cheered them on to succeed. He was one proud Grandpa.

In leaving this earth, although we will all miss him dearly, Bill is no longer in pain and is now reunited with his mother, father, and his dog Barkley.

Bill is survived by his wife Cynthia Lassanske, son Scott (Erin) Lassanske, brother Harold Lassanske, stepdaughter Rebecca (Mike) Lidwin, stepson Matthew (Meredith) King, and the following grandchildren: Connor Lassanske, Colin Lassanske, Christian Lassanske, Madeline Eugenia King, Molly King, and Myles King.
