William was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving his country during the Korean War and was a retiree of Allen-Bradley Co. after 37 years. He was a 25 year member of the Milwaukee Officials Association (Football) and was the founder of the Milwaukee Chapter of the International Plastic Model Association.
