William "Bill" Eineichner passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at the age of 87, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born in Glidden, WI on June 3rd, 1933, the son of the late Joseph and Lucy Eineichner (nee Wolf). He married Darlene Kernler on July 23, 1955 in Glidden, WI and they were blessed with 4 children. They relocated to Milwaukee in the mid 1950's, and made many return trips to Glidden where they both grew up and had many family members and friends. Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1953 into 1955.
Bill had a large circle of friends that he always enjoyed visiting with, especially those in the neighborhood where he lived the last 60+ years of his life. He always made time for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as people in the neighborhood. A machinist by trade at Rexnord for over 40 years, he was also a talented mechanic and carpenter and loved helping anyone that needed assistance.
Bill is now reunited with his devoted and loving wife of over 64 years Darlene (nee Kernler), who passed away in December of 2019. He is survived by his children: Roger (Dianne) Eineichner of West Allis, WI; William Eineichner of Pahrump, NV; Sharon (Randy) Biedenbender of Milwaukee, WI; and John Eineichner of Milwaukee, WI. Grandchildren: Daniel (Elsa) Scardino of South Milwaukee, WI; Jeremy Eineichner of West Allis, WI; Justin Eineichner of Menomonee Falls, WI; and Emily Eineichner of West Allis, WI. Great-Grandchildren: Isabel and Gabriella Scardino. He is also survived by two sisters – Ruth "Boots" Armstrong (Bill) of Hoyt Lakes, MN and Kathy Drabant of Palatine, IL. Bill is additionally survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; also one brother - Jack (the late Mildred) and one sister – Jean Druschke (the late Richard).
Per Bill's final wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, given Bill was always a Samaritan looking to lend a helping hand to friends and strangers alike, please take the opportunity to do what you can to help someone less fortunate, with Bill in mind, during these troubled times if you feel so inclined.
