Sun., July 7, 2002, age 74 years. Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Berttula). Dearest father of Sheryl Hartwick, Leslie (Jose) Moreno, David (Barbara) Ehlers, Susan (John) Brzezinski and Robert (Barbara L.) Ehlers. Dear grandfather of Jason, William, Andrew, Jesse, the late Jodi, Jamie, Jeri, Tami, Nicky, Kelly, Javier, Jack, Jolene, Jay, Kyla, Sarah and Savannah. Loving great-grandfather of Tyler, Allyssa, Shyann, Jesse Jr., Angelina, Michelle, Christian, Sean and Joshua. Brother of Jerome Ehlers and Margaret Feger. Also survived by other family and many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home TUE 4-8 PM. Prayer Service at 6 PM.. Funeral WED 9 AM from the Funeral Home to ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, So. 31st and W. Parnell Ave., for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM.. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Bill was a retiree of the Milwaukee Police Department after 44 years of service, veteran of the U.S. Naval Service, a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award of the Milwaukee County Boy Scout Council, former scoutmaster of Troop 540 and charter member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Memorials appreciated to the Milwaukee County Boy Scouts Council.
