Obituary

Wesley W. Westphal, a staple of the Milwaukee entertainment business from the 1960's to the late nineties, died peacefully in his sleep on December 15th, 2023 . His professional music career began in Milwaukee at the age of 11. If you were a fan of live music in the Milwaukee area, you probably heard Wes Westphal and one of his local 50's and 60's bands. From the Robin's, later the Rockin' Robins and then to the TREND, Wes played with a who's who of Milwaukee area musical talent over many decades. From Jim Liben and Sam McCue to Larry Lynn and many more. He played regularly at The Wisconsin State Fair, Summerfest, as well as hundreds of venues and weddings over the many decades. His music on Spotify has been listened to by thousands of his fans ever since they were added under the NASH-75 artist headline. Wesley Westphal is survived by his children, Cassandra (William) Haasl and Joel (Tatyana) Westphal; his grandchildren, Lily, Alex, Christopher, Lydia, Nicole and Miranda. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Casper-Westphal. Also survived by other family and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21, 2023, 11:00AM-1:00 PM. Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Private interment Highland Memorial Park.
