Saturday, March 11, 2017. Age 102 years. Wendell is preceded in death by spouses Anne Sprong (nee Grunert), Pearl Jopke, Charlotte Bethke and his son Robert (the late Kathy) Sprong. Loving father of Susan (John) Fritsche. Cherished grandfather of Lynn (Jeff) Ruhge, John Fritsche, Eric (Allison) Fritsche and Justin "Jake" Sprong. Further survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Memorial visitation at the Funeral Home Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 10:30 AM 12 Noon. Masonic Services at 12 noon under the auspices of Lake Lodge #189 FA&M with religious services to follow. Private interment Arlington Park Cemetery. Wendell was a retiree of Ladish Co. He was a longtime member and Past Master of Lake Lodge #189 FA&M. He was also a member of Wisconsin Scottish Rite, Tripoli Shrine, Vega Chapter OES and Bay View United Methodist Church.
