Passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of 28 years to Lynne (nee Laudenbach) Williams. Loving dad of Jack and Lauren Williams. Brother of Bill and David Williams. Preceded in by his parents Dorothy "Dot" and Walter Williams.

Jim received his Bachelors degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. Jim joined the United States Air Force after college and worked for the Strategic Air Command. Jim also served as a Navigator Bombardier on B-52s, and served on the crew of C-130s and other planes. After several years of service he retired as a Major in the USAF. Jim continued his passion for learning in 2015 and enrolled in the University of Chicago to obtain a Masters Degree of Science in Threat and Response Management. Jim worked at Sidley Law Office where he designed and implemented the Business Continuity Management System that lead to the first US Law firm in achieving ISO-22301:2012. Jim was a story teller and a good dancer. When Earth,Wind and Fire came on he could not be stopped. He could always find an audience and hold their attention for hours. Jim was passionate about teaching, both professionally and in his private life to make sure people received the help that was needed. Jim leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and dedication. His impact on his family and friends is immeasurable. He was an extraordinary dad, a good man and his tireless work ethic was a testament to his character. His love for the Air Force, helping those around him and his passion for history will continue to live on.

Memorial Visitation FRIDAY, April 25, 2025 at St. Mary by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Dr, Racine from 11 AM to 12 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM.
