Born into Eternal Life on October 4, 2018 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Johanna (nee Bachmaier) Mueller for 65 years. Loving father of Christine (John) Miller and Steven Mueller (Kathryn Dietrich). Loving Grandpa of Valerie (Gary) Richter, Timothy (Shannon) Miller, Paul Mueller and Brittany Mueller. Dear great grandpa of Rebecca (Tanner) Cole, Collin (Hannah) Richter and Ryan Richter. Further survived by relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9:30 AM -11:00 AM at ST. STEPHENS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1441 W. Oakwood Road. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Walter was a proud valedictorian of his graduating class, he then moved on to the military. He was a United States Army veteran. He also was a retiree of Ambrosia Chocolate after 40 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting antique bottles, and was a classic car enthusiast. Most importantly, Walter was a man of faith. He was a devoted member of St. Stephens Catholic Church for many years. He will be deeply missed.
