Obituary

Papia, Vivian M. (nee Radey) , Born to eternal life on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore "Tudy" Papia. Loving mother of Sal, Stephanie Dysland, Caroline (Patrick) Tice, Joseph, Peter, Cheryl (Tim) McDonell, John and Tony Papia. Dear sister of Ruth Jelinek, Rosie DeVuyst, Irene Baer, Lorraine Gurich and Joanne Radey. Sister-in-law of Sarah Peterson. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home SUNDAY 3-6 PM with a prayer service at 5 PM. Funeral MON. 9:30 AM from the Funeral Home to OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, S. 30th & W. Euclid Av. For the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Military honors and entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Vivian was a proud U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving in the medical corps, former switchboard operator at the Federal Building and the VA Hospital and information clerk at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Her family wishes to thank the staff of Ruth Hospice/Beloit Rd. for their loving care and concern. Memorials to Ruth Hospice would be appreciated.
