Cherished mother of Susan (Kenneth) Kernen, "The best daughter in the world". Loving "gram-gram" of Ryan (fiance Alex Jagielski), twins Nicholas and Nathan (girlfriend Kayla Jagler). Violet was born and raised in Caspian. She was a longtime member of St. Cecelia Church and a member of the St. Anne's Women's Group. She was instrumental in starting the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Iron River, MI. Several years after her husband passed away she moved to the Milwaukee area to be near her daughter Susan and her family. In that time, they observed and took to heart her four strongest traits: Her Italian heritage, her Catholic faith, being a mother and cherishing her role as a grandmother. Her daughter would like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers from Harmony of Brenwood and Hospice Advantage. Also a world of gratitude to Dr. Gary Kamer.
