THORPE, Violet "Vi" (nee Plewa) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late James H. Thorpe. Loving mother of James (Dianne), the late Linda, Robert (Kristine) and Pam (James) Marlin. Proud grandma of Brian, Mikelin (Tom), Kate and Jimmy. Great grandma of Danny. Dear sister of Tillie (Norbert) Krokowski. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 2 from 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 3 at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CHURCH, 3222 S. 29th St at 10 AM. Please meet at church. Interment Wood National Cemetery.
