Obituary

Gone much too soon, Todd Michael Tillman, age 52, was called to eternal life the morning of Thursday, January 28, 2016, after heroically battling the disease ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, for seven short months. His diagnosis became a mission to raise awareness to the disease through his Facebook Page: "TillmanTough" Born February 4, 1963 in Toledo, OH, Todd was and is so much more than can be summarized in a few short paragraphs. To his parents: Pat (nee Monaghan) and Tom Tillman, he was the epitome of a devoted and loving son; To his siblings: Tom (Carla) Tillman, Tracy (Eric) Tormoen, and Scott (Tracy) Tillman, he was their baby brother, their favorite companion in crime, and the bedrock of their family in both good times and bad; To his numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended family, Todd was always available with words of wisdom, a heart of forgiveness, and unshakable faith in their futures. To his "Brothers from Another Mother": Mike Multerer, Joel Multerer, Roy Stollenwerk, Andrew Koch, David Wagner, Paul Arend and many, many more, Todd was and will always be the one they could count on for hard work, hard play, a steady hand and a huge heart; To his countless other friends both far and wide, Todd was faithful, fun-loving and unflappable. His word was his honor and once a friend, his support was unlimited; To his co-workers and company, Todd was dedicated, hardworking, and a brilliant contributor; having worked with GE Healthcare for 23 years and earning numerous patents in their Ultrasound Division. Even in the midst of a terminal diagnosis, Todd worked diligently to continue his passionate pursuit of cutting edge Ultrasound technology with his team; To his Faith Community of St. Mary Parish Hales Corners: Todd was a man of great faith as well as a devoted volunteer, relishing his time with Cub Scout Pack 530 as well as serving as a Eucharistic minister in the church and as a little league coach; To sports fans everywhere: Todd was the most rabid Packer and Badger Fan known to mankind. He is certainly conferring with Coach Lombardi and wearing a cheese head in heaven; Finally, to his wife and partner of 23 years, Sue (nee Multerer), daughter Evan and son John, he was and always will be their North Star; a steady, bright light by which they set course each day. Their sun rose and set with him. He will forever be missed with such depth and breadth there are simply no words. As promised us, we will be united again in our eternal home someday. Daddy, we will see you on the other side. A special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice, especially Dana, Jacob, and Gypsy who filled his last months with great joy. It is never too late to make a new friend. Visitation on Thursday, February 4, 3:00-7:00 PM and Friday, February 5, 10:00-10:45 AM at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY, 9520 W.
