Born to eternal life on Saturday, October 7, 2023, age 86 years. Beloved husband for 62 years to Carol (nee Ackerman). Devoted father of Tom (Heidi) Spidell, Chris Konkolowski, Paula (Paul) Uselton, Mary (Jeff) Wood, Edward (Janina) Spidell and the late Steve Spidell. Proud grandpa of Alexander (Taia) Spidell and the late Victor Spidell; Elizabeth and Melissa Konkolowski; Randy, Matthew, Mark and Daniel (Andrea) Spidell; Tatyana and Esteban Spidell; George, Lorenzo and Peter Bacalzo; Khaleb and Joshua Spidell. Dear great-grandpa of Anthony, Vincent, Remy and Adam Spidell. Fond brother of Diane (the late Charles) Wisch, the late Gerald (the late Karen) Spidell and the late Richard (Shirley) Spidell. Brother-in-law Bob (Marlene) and Paul Ackerman, Sue (Kevin) Puder and the late Arlene (John) Czarnezki. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Tom was a retiree of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and a U.S. Army veteran.

Visitation on Monday, October 16, 2023, 9:00-11:00 AM at St. Augustine of Hippo Church, 2530 S. Howell Ave., Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
