Schumacher, Thomas W. "Tom" Of Cudahy, WI was Born To Eternal Life on Friday, February 28, 2014. Age 87 years. Beloved husband for 60 years of Caroline (nee Schmitz). Loving father of Glen (Grace), David (Chris Romano), Donald (Gloria), Linda (Jim) Beck, Brian and Lisa (Dan) Schubring. Dear brother Herman (the late Laverne), Richard (Beverly), Janet (the late Roy) Dillie, Mildred (the late Norbert) Miller and Nancy (Harry) Suhr. Preceded in death by siblings James (the late Betty), Joan (Leonard) Viergutz, Patricia (the late Lloyd) Nickel and Mary Jane Schumacher. Tom is further survived by his 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law other family members and friends.
Visitation at the Funeral Home MONDAY, March 3, 2013 from 4-7 PM. Prayer Service at 7 PM. Visitation also Tuesday from 10 11 AM at DIVINE MERCY PARISH, 800 Marquette Ave. South Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Private interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
Tom was a WWII veteran proudly serving his country in the U.S. Navy and was a retiree of Delco Electronics after 28 years of service. Through out his life he enjoyed running, studying history and reading. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
