Of Franklin, formerly of Hillsboro, WI. Died peacefully on December 3, 2005 at the age of 70, after a long illness. Tom was born on January 1, 1935 and is preceded in death by his parents, Atty. and Mrs. Harry T. Jordan and his twin brother, Richard T. Jordan. Tom was a graduate of the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science and was the chief autopsy technician of Milwaukee County Hospital for 30 years. He performed autopsies for the hospital, medical examiner and Milwaukee County Zoo; and was also involved in research and teaching at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He was proud of his service to his country and a decorated Marine Corp Veteran, receiving four Medals of Honor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known as the "Perch King." Tom was a shareholder in the Green Bay Packer Organization and was a survivor of the Ice Bowl. Tom is survived by his wife and dance partner of 47 years Joan T. (nee Sinkule) and children Jacqueline J. (Jeff) Lucas-Jordan, Janine J. Jordan, Thomas J. (Bonne L. Albrecht) Jordan, Timothy H. Jordan and Jennifer J. (Thomas) Marcotte. Only grandchild, Jessica M. "Rotten Kid" Lucas and gramps to Emily and Josh Albrecht, and his sister Mary (William) Meiser. The family wishes to give special thanks to Doctors Kraklow, Bajwa, Berry and Ganne as well as Dawn and Peggy. Also to the nursing staff of St. Luke's Medical Center especially, Bill, Courtney, Mary Jo and Sara. Tom loved his family, his English bulldog Chubby and the Green Bay Packers, but not necessarily in that order! Visitation TUESDAY 9- 10:45 AM at ST.
