On October 16, 2026, our beloved Thomas A. "Tommy" Gensmer found peace at the age of 58. Born on February 15, 1968, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tommy lived a vibrant and fulfilling life marked by love, laughter, and cherished memories.

For 26 wonderful years, Tommy shared a deep and loving partnership with Donald Miller, creating a beautiful bond that will forever be treasured. He was the proud son of the late Sharon Gensmer and the brother of Mark Gensmer, Carolynn (Edward Wargolet) Gensmer, and the late Robert Gensmer. Tommy is also survived by his fond aunts, Debra Hart and Lori Trouman, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.

Tommy proudly served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and dedicated 37 years of his career to Quad Graphics, where he excelled as a Material/Logistics Handler in the commercial printing industry. Known for his green thumb, he loved nurturing his house plants and taking pride in their beauty. He enjoyed cooking and was known for his mouthwatering beef stew and barbecue ribs, which he gladly shared with family and friends.

He was a true fan of the Lord of the Rings. Tommy found joy in collecting Fiestaware and was an avid member of the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association. His quick wit and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed.

Please join us as we celebrate the wonderful life of Tommy Gensmer-a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

A private burial and military honors were held at Woodlawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
