Gruber, Theresa M. (nee Jurgella) Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, June 5, 2014, age 83 years. Theresa was born and raised in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She passed away peacefully at her home, in Greenfield, surrounded by her family and compassionate caregivers. Theresa went to be with her loving husband, Robert of 61 years. She was the devoted mother of Mary (Dr. Anthony) LaPorta, Laura (Dennis) Fritsch, John (Diane) Gruber and Jane Gruber (Donald Price). Devoted grandmother to Heather Fritsch (David Kugi), Eric Fritsch (Marisha Henry), Amy (Christopher) Thompson, William (Annie Aschenbrenner) Gruber, Esq., Krista (Christopher) Favia, Joseph and Robert LaPorta, Anthony (Kelly) LaPorta, Melynda (Matt) McPherson. Treasured great-grandmother to Olivia and Mattilynn Thompson, Riley Kugi, Triston Favia, Alex LaPorta and one unborn great-grandchild. Dear sister-in-law of Reinhold Conrad. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Theresa worked in an administrative capacity at the Blood Center and in retail sales at The Grand. She was always interested in living a healthy lifestyle and was very knowledgeable about vitamins and herbs to help our bodies stay healthy. She also was a Shaklee Vitamin distributor for many years. Visitation Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 9:30 11 AM at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, 3100 W. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to St. Charles Borromeo Church are appreciated.
