Found peace on Sunday, March 5, 2017, age 83 years. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Jackovich. Beloved husband for 59 years of Ruth (nee Crachy). Loving father of Kathryn (Theodore) Smith, Theodore J. (Nathan Kryshak), Anne (the late Mark) Jack and the late Karen Rose Jackovich. Proud grandfather of Madison and Haley Smith. Dear brother of Joan (the late Robert) Tomczak, Paul Jackovich, Geraldine Chasten, Robert Jackovich and Conrad (Karen) Jackovich. Also survived by his aunt, Dorothy Wozniak, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Following his service in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, Theodore enlisted in the U.S. Navy, completing nearly two years aboard the USS Antietam, CVS-36. After his service, his career included work in the construction trade, at P&H as a welder, and as a field supervisor with Green Giant. He was also a long-time member of the Wind Lake, WI Volunteer Fire Department. Of all the wonderful memories, his fondest were of the many happy years he and Ruth shared with their children and grandchildren at the home they loved near Coloma, WI. The family wishes to thank the many dedicated individuals who helped care for him at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Aurora St. Luke's South Shore Hospital, and the Sunrise Care Center.
