Obituary

Kuzniewski, Thaddeus S. "Ted" Ted ("Uncle Ted" as he was known to most everyone) was born to eternal life on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the age of 99. Ted was devoted to his wife of 63 years: Felice (Fay). Fay passed away in 2004. Cherished father of Thomas (Kelly) Gaglione and Franklin (Lisa) Gaglione. Ted and Fay also were foster parents to three infant girls. Beloved grandfather of Melissa (Alshun), Ashley (Joe), Blaze and Nicole. Great grandfather to Nevaeh. Dear brother of Syl (Audrey), and the late Norbie (Dolores), and the late Peter (Helen). Dear brother-in-law to Colette (the late Jack) Pesch and Geraldine (the late Leonard) Grzybowski. Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Victoria and siblings: Sally (John) Haydak, Casey (Katherine), Stephanie (Stanley) Gwiazda, Eddie (Gertrude). Also preceded in death by many in laws including Bunny (Joe) Konkel, Rene (Nor), Stanley (Verna), Jane (Joseph), Mickey (Norma), Rose (Dan and Gene), Roman (Dorothy), Casey, Chester and Tommy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ted retired from Harnischfeger Corporation where he was a sheet metal specialist. Ted also served as a Navy military police officer during WWII. Ted loved family gatherings. He was a great gardener, polka dancer, a good card player (especially Sheepshead) and enjoyed fishing. He was the type of guy who could fix anything and made sure it was done right! Ted was a man of faith and he was active into his early 90's. Uncle Ted's great smile and bright blue eyes will be missed by those who loved and cared for him. Uncle Ted for many years enjoyed 'a beer a day' a secret to a long life! So in celebration of the life of this very good man and father, please feel free to raise a beer in his honor. Ted's family sends sincere heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Elizabeth Residence Franklin for their dedicated care over the past several years. Thank you also to Season's Hospice.
