Terry W. Bierer
Terry Bierer passed away on Sunday, December 28th, 2025, in Milwaukee after a long journey with dementia. He was 78 years old.
Terry was the son of Bion and Bette Luton Bierer. He spent his early years in his beloved Pacific Northwest. He served in the US Coast Guard and was a Vietnam veteran. After marrying Jo he moved to Illinois and later Wisconsin. Terry worked primarily as a welder and was proud of his many steel fabrications. Terry was an avid model railroader for most of his life and enjoyed trains in general. He and Jo made several trips across the country on the Amtrak Empire Builder and visited many railroad museums over the years. Terry was helpful and generous with his time and skills. He participated in numerous mission trips and also volunteered with church and community projects.
Terry is survived by his beloved wife Jo and their children, Anna Bierer (Eric Tranmal), Troy Bierer, Chris (Inessa) Peck, Jodie (Drew) Moisant , and grandchildren, Camden, Harlan, Verlie, Emily and Megan. He is also survived by a sister Barbara (Ken) Long, brother-in-law Dale (Jean) Grupe, nieces, nephews and adored family dogs. He was predeceased by his parents, parents-in-law, brother-in-law Alan Grupe, and daughter-in-law Leigh Peck.
The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and especially nurse Mandi for their compassionate care, and Villa St. Francis caregivers and staff for showing him love and patience.
