Age 67 years, found peace December 22, 2008 after a long, brave struggle with cancer. Loving wife of John Gonway. Cherished mother of Rhonda Szabo and Nicholas Gonway. Proud grandmother of Brandan and Bryan Szabo. Dear sister of Eleanor Zeckser and Joyce Florczak. Preceded in death by her brother, William Piekarski and two sisters, Betty Florczak and Rosemary Rode. Susan, a retiree of St. Luke's Hospital touched many lives with her welcoming smile, positive spirit, knitting and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends.
