Thursday, November 18, 2010, age 85 years. Beloved husband for 62 years of Eileen (nee Raymond) Kowler. Loving father of Mark (Terri) Kowler and Kerry (nee Kowler) Hanson. Proud grandfather of Janeen (Matthew) Moore, Thomas (Cherissa) Hanson Jr. Special great-grandfather of Alexis, Brittany, Jacob, Lucas, Ashley Moore and Gauge Hanson. Brother of Delores (LeRoy) Delosh. Preceded in death by his siblings, Rose, Edward, Eugene, Victor, Joseph, William, Anne and Theodore. Also survived by other family and friends. Stanley was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II in the Pacific Theatre and a retired Lieutenant with the Milwaukee Fire Department after 36 years of service. He was also a member Lake Lodge No. 189 F&AM, Tripoli Shrine and the Milwaukee Historical Society. Private services were held with entombment at Forest Home Cemetery.
