Obituary

Died peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2004. Age 74 years.Loving husband of Phyllis (nee Hernes). Beloved father of Stanley, Stephen (Mary), Linda (Marc) Woelfel and Patrick. Fond brother of Charles (Ruth). Brother-in-law of Mary Ann (Ronald) Abresch.Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home MON. 4-8 PM. Prayer Service at 7 PM. Visitation also TUES 9:30 – 10:15 AM at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, S. 31st and W. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Entombment and Military Honors at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Stan was a retiree of Allen-Bradley Co. after 35 years of service and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish and a longtime usher, a member of Electrical Workers Local #1111- Retirees and an Alumnus of SS. Cyril and Methodius and St. Francis Minor Seminary. Stan was also a former member of Grant Park Senior Men's Golf League. In lieu of flowers memorials to the church for masses would be appreciated.
