(nee Stepkowski) Born to eternal life on Friday, September 5, 2014, age 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Prudlo and the late Michael Pelzek. Loving mother of Dennis (Rebecca), Robert, and Michael (Janice) Pelzek. Step-mother of Robert, Anthony (Terri) and the late Lee Prudlo. Proud grandmother of Matthew (Sandra) Pelzek, David (Sue) Pelzek, Anne (Bradley) Dunning, Jennifer (Matthew) Mitacek, Michele (Jason) Clayton, Michael (Ann) Prudlo and Christopher Prudlo. Dear sister of Helen Kopp and sister-in-law of Jeanne Scott. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Sophie was a member of St. Veronica Parish since 1954. A special thank you to the entire 2nd floor staff at St. Camillus Court East for their 5 years of wonderful care for our mother as well as to the hospice staff for their kindness and compassion during her final days.
