Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Age 74 years. Beloved husband of the late Sharon (nee Weinzatl). Dear father of Brenda (Richard) Baas, Wendy Jo Skare and Jim (fianc Karen Summers) Skare. Grandfather of Tia, Richard II, Zachary Baas and Breann Schmidt. Brother of Norman (the late Karen) and Gordon (Margaret) Skare. Further survived by one niece, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 11AM-1PM. Funeral Service at 1PM. Private inurnment at Arlington Park Cemetery. Butch proudly served his country in the Army from 1962-1964. He was a heavy equipment operator for The Milwaukee County Highway Dept and a member of AFSCME Local 882. During his career, he was Head Steward and then became Vice-President and Chief Steward 6 years prior to his retirement. In his retirement, he was the Treasurer for AFSCME Retiree Sub-Chapter 36 for almost 20 years.
