Rodriguez, Shirley C. (nee Cardenas) Was Born To Eternal Life on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Age 93 years. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late Samuel Rodriguez. Loving mom of David (Doris), Dennis (Phyllis Bonaccorso) and Delia (Paul) Roembke. Loving grandma of Cindy (Ben Habel) Rodriguez, Jackie (John Ehrmanntraut) Roembke, Ryan (fiance Jess), Robert, Brittney and Brandon Roembke. Great grandma of Madi and Adrie. Preceded in death by her brothers Rueben and Robert Cardenas. Shirley was a very social person who most loved gatherings with her family, whether they were birthdays, weddings, family picnics or any occasion that brought her loved ones together. She was an avid reader who found joy in crossword puzzles, playing piano and many outdoor activities like maintaining her beautiful flower garden. One of Shirleys favorite aspects of family was the opportunity to have it grow, and loved welcoming new people into it. Shirley was the last of her familys generation and is now enjoying a grand picnic in Heaven with her contemporaries. Visitation FRIDAY, January 25, 2019, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee, from 10:30 AM-12 Noon. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
