Efta, Shirley Ann (nee Paulson). Called Home to rest on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late Donald Efta. Loving mother of Colleen Efta, John (Debbie) Efta, the late Laurie Efta, Roxanne Efta (Tony Scheftner), Rachel Efta (the late Byron Brzycki) and Michelle Efta (Mark Musa). Cherished grandmother of Charles (Robyn) Marzofka, Cassandra (Dan) Granger; Joseph Scheftner (Jessica Armstrong), Johnnie Efta (Jacob Perse-Anderson) and Brandon Efta. Dear great-grandmother of Henry; Miles, Weston, Chase; and Vincent. Adored sister of the late Raymond (Evelyn) Paulson, the late Joan (the late Willard) Hamlin, Beverly (the late Jim) Hedlund and Reuben (Laura) Norquist. Shirley is also preceded in death by her parents Olaf Paulson and Gina Norquist. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Shirley was born and raised in northern Minnesota in the small quant town of Roseau. She graduated from Roseau High School in 1956 and shortly thereafter married the love of her life, Donald Efta of Greenbush, MN. Together they shifted into big city life by moving to Milwaukee, WI, where they raised their six children. Shirley enjoyed listening to Elvis, country western music, playing bingo and later in life she became very fond of watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Bucks, and many hockey games on tv. She also enjoyed countless get-togethers with her children, grandchildren and her grand-dogs.
Visitation at THE FUNERAL HOME Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 3PM to 6PM. Funeral Service to Follow, at 6PM. Private entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
