Obituary

Brockman, Shirley Ann (Nee Davis) Sunday, November 10, 2013, age 91. Beloved mother of Suzanne Venecek, William Brockman, Terry (David) Langteau, Gary (Nicole) Brockman. Preceeded in death by her loving husband William J. Brockman, her sister Marion Butzow, and her parents Ira and Francis Davis. She had twelve grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren, and many more relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home November 15, 2013, 11am 1pm. Funeral services at 1pm. Interment with Military Honors at Arlington Park Cemetery. Shirley was a 1940 graduate of Washington High School. During WWII, she proudly served as a Spar in the U.S. Coast Guard, stationed in Key West, Florida. Shirley was a long time member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Oak Creek, a member of the Milwaukee County extension of the homemakers and past commander of Betsy Ross Post of the American Legion. Shirley's hobbies included bowling, traveling, photography, and writing. Her family is what she cherished the most. For the last ten years Shirley lived in beautiful LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
