Sharon R. Walensa

(nee Hammond) Went Home to join her husband James and daughter Jodi in Eternal Life on Friday, October 26, 2026. Age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late James Walensa. Loving mother of Jennifer Nowak, Jeff Nowak and the late Jodi Nowak (Frank Tenuta). Cherished grandma of Zoe Tenuta and Lily Tenuta; Chase (Hailey) Nowak, Stevie Rae Nowak and Chance Nowak. Dear aunt of Kathy (Joe) Pietrykowsky. Sharon is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, other family and friends and her feline companion Boo.

Sharon was born and raised on the south side of Milwaukee. She worked for over 10 years at Marquette University. Throughout her life Sharon enjoyed gardening, watching soap operas, gossips magazines and keeping in constant contact with her family.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 10:30 AM - 12:30 AM. Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
