Born to eternal life on Monday, April 19, 2021, age 83 years. Beloved wife for 63 years to Zygmunt Szmidt. Loving mom of Linda Szmidt, Cynthia Szmidt, Kathryn Szmidt and Mark (Erica) Szmidt. Cherished grandma of Jaclyn Bonk, Jonathan Bonk, Nathan and Zachary Szmidt. Dear sister of Robert (Charlene) Tumi, John (Colette) Twardowski and Steve (Karen) Twardowski. Preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Irene (nee Lankiewicz) Tumidajewicz; and a brother Ed (Kay) Tumidajewicz. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ruthann loved to travel and help raise her grandchildren and along with her husband belonged to the Polonia Soccer Club in Franklin. Private services were held.
