(nee McVay) Found peace on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, age 84 years. Beloved wife for 59 years of Wilfred Wing. Loving mother of Robert (Christine) and James (Kathleen) Wing. Dearest grandmother of Julia and Alison Wing; Kristie (Alan) Smith and Kelly (Jerry) Meloy. Great-grandmother of Kaitlyn, Kari and Gavin. Sister of Aline Sinkler and Sam McVay. Sister-in-law of Delores (Gilbert) Plewa. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ruth was a very active and involved member at her church. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy as a Pharmacist Mate in Pearl Harbor. Ruth also was an officer with W.B. Bottle Co., was a member of the PEO sisterhood and was a school teacher in Iowa. If desired, memorials appreciated to the Bay View United Methodist church organ fund.
