Went home to the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2007, age 82 years. Beloved husband for 44 years of Pearl Jameson. Loving father of Carrie Jameson. Reuben was a retired fireboat pilot with the Milwaukee Fire Department. He was a proud US Navy veteran serving on the USS Tuscaloosa during World War II. His service overseas included North Atlantic convoy duty, Invasion of Normandy, Iwo Jima and invasion of Okinawa. Reuben belonged to the Geo. Washington-Bay Post #180 and was an American Legion member for 62 years. He was a Unit Commander and also a County Commander.
