Martinez, Rudolph L. "Rudy" Died peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2009, age 81 years. Beloved husband for 55 years of Donna (nee Cauffman). Cherished father of Amy (Michael) Mullen, Andy (Allison), Becky, Ruth (Mark) Busalacchi, Joseph (Mary) and Pete. Treasured grandfather of Michelle (Derek), Mark, Meghan, Karen, Phil, Cynthia, Melissa, Matt, Sarah (Tom), Kimberly, Elena, Warren, Chelsea and Ian. Adored great-grandfather of Dillion, Emelie and Drake. Dear brother of Juanita (Ray) Marhetke, Christina (Terrence) Huebschen, Pilar Connie (Donald) Milestone, Felix and Fidel. Further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Preceded in death by Salvador and Victoria Martinez. Visitation at the Funeral Home Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 2-5 PM. Funeral Services at 5 PM. Private inurnment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Rudy was raised by his father, a migrant worker. Together they settled in Racine and lived with his new family. At the age of seventeen, he entered the U.S. Navy. After serving his country, Rudy attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison earning a Bachelor's degree and becoming a Registered Pharmacist in 1955. Rudy's career included work in local Hospitals. Later, as a business owner, Rudy and his wife Donna provided personal service at Wolf Rexall Pharmacy in St. Francis. Vacations and Holidays were spent with Donna's family in southwestern Wisconsin. Rudy's life encompassed everyday adventures with family and friends. His passions included lifelong learning, and a diverse mix of music and books.
