Born to eternal life on Monday, February 16, 2026, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean Paquette (nee Mills) for 63 years. Loving father of Alan (Jean) Paquette, Michael (Roberta) Paquette, and Robert Paquette. Proud grandpa of Michael (Amanda) Paquette and Christine (Kyle Zahn) Paquette, Sarah and Joshua Paquette. Dear great-grandpa of Kaiden and Karter Zahn. Further survived by his brother Dion (Jean) Paquette. Royce was born in Lake Linden, Michigan and attended Lake Linden High School where he excelled in Basketball, Track, and Football. He went to college at Michigan Tech before joining the U.S. Air Force, proudly serving his country from 1953 to 1957. In 1962, Royce married the love of his life, Jean in Lake Linden, Michigan. The evening of their wedding, they left Lake Linden for Milwaukee to start their lives together. He worked a few jobs before starting his career with the U.S. Postal Service where he remained before retiring in 1995. Royce enjoyed some of the simpler things in life, such as doing yard work, long walks with the dog, growing raspberries for his wife Jean, watching sports on TV, and taking vacations up in Lake Linden to see family. A heartfelt thank you to the caring staff of The Waterford at Hartford for their loving care for Royce.
