Husband of the late Maria (nee Lujan). Loving father of Celeste (James) Morden, Daniel (Patricia) Chavez, Cecelia Chavez, Robert (Serina) Chavez, Celina (Jeffrey) Hancox, Camille Chavez and Christina Mironischen (Bond). Grandfather of Denisha (Phil) Cumpton, James (Chelsea) Morden, Evan Morden, Cailin Chavez, Gabriella (James) Winter, Theresa Chavez, Alexandra Chavez, Maria Hancox, the late Christian Hancox, Mikey Mironischen and Christian Mironischen. Great-grandfather of nine great-grandchildren. Brother of Mercedes Chavez, the late Eloise "Loisa" Laehn, the late Ramona Chavez, the late Carmen Plumitis, the late Maria "Chita" Gonzalez, the late Salvador "Sal," the late John and the late Peter "Artie." Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 5PM to 7PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service to follow, at 7PM. Burial and Military Honors at SOUTHERN WISCONSIN VETERANS MEMORIAL CEMETERY, 21731 Spring St, Union Grove, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 11AM. Please meet at the cemetery office by 10:45AM.

As a young man, Roy was a member of the United States Air Force. He loved playing golf and football, and was a proud graduate of Boys Tech. He was a Green Bay Packers fan through it all. He enjoyed traveling and Chardonnay, was a staunch Democrat and a CNN devotee. He adored dancing and listening to music. Roy was a hard worker and excelled in everything he set his mind to. He loved to laugh, was easygoing and lived his life to the fullest. He was a stylish, debonair gentleman.
