Franke, Rose Simonsen Has left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 13th, 2018, age 23 years. Having run the race and won the victory in Christ, she is likely already surfing in the heavens above. Most cherished daughter of Amy Simonsen and Robert Franke. Much loved sister of Luke. Preceded in death by her grandparents Betty and George Simonsen, Ron and Rosalind Franke. Loving niece of Cathy (Jim) Fatagati, Rebecca (Paul) Bilello and Lynn (Patrick) Noel. Also survived by great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, many friends and co-workers.
Rose attended Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, graduated from Grafton High School and was a UW-LaCrosse alum. She was involved in many activities. She competed in gymnastics from a young age at Lafleur's Gymastics as well as at UW Lacrosse. She was a part of many championship teams. She was employed at ADvendio Software in Concn, Val Paraiso Region, of Chile. She had a passion for living, and lived life to the fullest. She brought joy to all that knew her. Rose made her dreams come true, truly loved the Country of Chile and the Chilean people. Her love for all the ocean had to offer was all encompassing.
Roses family has planned a Celebration of Roses Life to be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 12PM to 2PM at the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center, 1450 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr. Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, followed by a light reception. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to a scholarship fund that will be created in her name for students studying abroad in Chile. Click here to contribute.
