Found peace on Thursday, September 7, 2023, age 92 years. Loving husband of the late Shirleymae (nee Groh). Loving father of Randall (Sharon Christiansen) and Larsen aka Patricia (Matthew) Le Marbre. Grandfather of Graysen and Mazsen. Dear brother of Richard (Jean) Zeller. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Gathering Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4PM to 6PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Memorial Service to follow, at 6PM.

Ron worked at Schuster's on S. 11th and Mitchell, and Bryant's Cocktail Lounge and in 1964, he and his wife, Shirleymae, opened the Bay View icon, At Random. His famous creations were served to many for over 50 plus years, his expansive menu of over 35 ice cream drinks were enjoyed by all, especially "The Peanut Butter Cup"and, of course, of the non-ice cream drinks, the infamous "Tiki Bowl". He will fondly be remembered for always inventing a new drink and if you were lucky enough to be sitting at the bar, you were the first to try it along with a great tale by a master storyteller. Ron was a charter, long time member and past president of the Bay View Lions Club. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War while stationed in Germany. The family wishes to thank Drs Paul Le Marbre and David Warner, as well as the caring staffs of Suncrest Hospice and The Villas at Baer Creek in Kaysville, UT for the extraordinary care for Ron.
