Was Born To This Life on November 3, 1946 and was Born To Eternal Life on November 27, 2010. Devoted husband of Andrea Williams-Meier. Loving father of Peter (Aimee) Meier. Cherished grandfather of Isabella Meier. Beloved brother of Cynthia (James) Plennes, John (Louise) Meier, Anne (Steve) Storniolo and Mary (Scott) DeWalt. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Emilie Meier, brother Paul Meier and sister-in-law Karen Meier. Further survived by nieces, nephews, step-children other family members and friends. Funeral services with military honors will take place on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, 12 noon at SOUTHERN WISCONSIN VETERANS MEMORIAL CEMETERY in Union Grove. An Air Force veteran, Ron was a graduate of Marquette High School and Marquette University. A retired MPS teacher he enjoyed a second career as a successful tutor.
