Ron was born in Cudahy and grew up an Oak Creek farmboy. He served in the US Army Infantry artillery during the Korean conflict. He married his dear Susan Stanislawski and they were together till her death in 1998. Her passing was something he never got over. He visited her crypt daily until his health made it no longer possible. Ron was a good father to his sons, Kyle (Jodi) and Randy (Jody Nieves). He was especially fond of his nieces and nephews on both sides of his family; and he was especially close to Eric Lesch. Even at 90 he had good friends left too! Steve Sanders, Lori Zalewski and Rich Bonner, he loved you and always talked of the shared love of horseshoes.

Ron fought golden gloves and fought hard to live as long as possible. A special thank you to Dr. Wasiullah, Dr. Sheldikar, Dr. Mirosein, Dr. Machernis and the rest of the Aurora health team for keeping the ball rolling until 90 years old.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Prayer service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Please meet just inside the cemetery gate at 11:45 AM.
