Age 75, died peacefully at home on Friday, October 21st, 2011 surrounded by family. Roma is survived by her husband Stan, her son Greg, and daughter-in-law Stephanie. Roma graduated from Pulaski High School in 1954. Roma then worked as an administrative assistant for Milwaukee Stamping Company, Standard Oil, Chain Belt Company, and Mobil Oil. Roma married Stan in 1963. Their son Greg was born in 1966. At this time Roma left the work force and became a stay at home mom. When Greg started grade school Roma obtained employment at The Milwaukee Public School System cafeteria program. Apparently Roma realized that wrestling heavy pots and pans was not her calling so she left MPS and the family moved to the "Melody Top Theater" area where she and Stan managed an apartment complex. After a few years the family moved back to the south side where she began working for Target in the receiving department. Roma eventually retired from Target after 17 years of service. We want to thank all of the health care professionals who have touched Roma's life during the past five years. We also want to thank Christine and our neighbors and friends for the home cooked meals and bakery they provided. We also want to thank everyone who prayed for Roma. They lifted her spirit, gave her hope, and surprised her knowing how many people cared. Last but not least, a special thanks to Stephanie who has always been there for Roma from day one.
