Roger J. Kosciuk
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger J. Kosciuk, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, who departed this world on February 19, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on December 27, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Roger was a lifelong resident of the city. He carried with him a zest for life.
Roger will be remembered for his incredible kindness and a passion for the things he loved. As a skilled tool and die maker, he dedicated years to his craft, with an unwavering commitment to detail. Beyond his career, Roger found fulfillment in many pursuits, such as playing softball for decades at Dyer Field and cultivating a large vegetable garden, where he harvested farm to table produce.
An avid sports enthusiast, Roger was a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Marquette Warriors and the Wisconsin Badgers. He had a passion for riding motorcycles, enjoying the freedom of the open road. Above all, Roger had a deep compassion for animals, providing a safe home for his many pets.
Roger is survived by his devoted wife, Terry Kosciuk, his cherished sister, Jean (the late Bill) Kaiserling; sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Mike) Orlando, Mary Pawlowski and the late Karen Dahl. Further survived by cousin, nieces, nephews and cherished members of the Johns family. Preceded in death by his parent's Benedict and Katherine Kosciuk. Together, they shared countless memories, laughter, and love, and his spirit will forever remain in their hearts.
A celebration of Roger's life will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, with visitation 10:30am-12 Noon at St. Veronica Congregation, 4001 S. Whitnall Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
In these moments of remembrance, let us celebrate the vibrant life of Roger J. Kosciuk-a man whose legacy is love, laughter, and adventure.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to a music, sports or animal welfare charity.
