Found peace on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the age of 91. Born in Tangancicuaro,
Michoacan, Mexico on November 6, 1932. Raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. After
serving in the United States Army during the Korean War, he made his home in Wisconsin for the last 66 years. Loving spouse of the late, Verna Delgado. Dear father of the late Ricardo (Ann), Esperanza (Douglas) Stefanik, Octavio (Celeste), Hector (Argelia), and Carlos (Manuel). Loving son of the late Vicente (Maria De Jesus "Chuy"), and the late Esperanza Delgado de Magdaleno. The oldest of 12 siblings of Ramon, the late Enoe Del Carmen, Vicente, Celia Ester, Maria Del Refugio, Jose Vicente, Arturo, Sara, Alejandro, Maria Herlinda, and Juan Manuel. Loving grandfather to all his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Further survived by the Chavez family and the many families in Guadalajara, Jalisco and other regions of Mexico. In respect to the many special close friends, Bonita Adamczyk, Mrs. Erica John and family, along
with all the past close co-workers (Judy) from the De Rance Foundation, best neighbor Bill Hass, and many friends who brought meals and prayers many evenings.
Rogelio served in the United States Army active duty during the Korean War July 20, 1956 to May 27, 1958, as Heavy Weapons Infantryman-Pfc. Continued status as In-Active Reserves service until July 19, 1962.
Visitation on Saturday, January 20, 2024, 8:30-10:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Faith Community, 305 S 1st St, Waterford. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Entombment and Military Honors to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Fisher House-Wisconsin, VHAMIWFisherhouse@VA.gov.
