Found Peace and was reunited with his wife, Catherine, on July 31, 2021 at the age of 84. Rod is survived by his children Sandra Schmidt, Sue Melby, and Karen Mason; and his two grandsons Duncan and Ian Martin. Rod was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa. He enjoyed his time volunteering at Habitat for Humanity. Rod's hobbies included gardening, home remodeling and cooking. Rod's family would like to thank the staff of Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care in Wauwatosa, and the staff of Linden Grove Communities for their compassionate care of Rod. They would also like to thank Froedtert Hospital for their patience in working with Rod. Private Services will be held.
