Robert W. Butch Woida died on January 15, 2019 in Fort Myers, Florida at the age of 83. He was born to Theodore and Jule Woida and grew up in Greendale, WI. He served in the Navy from 1954-1957. He married the love of his life, Sylvia (Czarnecki) and joined the Milwaukee Fire Department in 1960. Bob retired as a Lieutenant in 1993. Bob and Sylvia enjoyed retiring in Florida and spent summers in Wild Rose, WI. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening, games, traveling, and making new friends. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia of 59 years. He is survived by children Lynn Ledger, Lorelei (Daniel) Krueger, Louise (Joseph) Hoffman, and James Woida. Loving Grandfather to Luke, Katie, Jake, Tony, Madelyn, and Matthew. He will be missed by brother Steve (Joannie) Woida and sister the late Joan Miller, Jeanne and Jim Kuhn, along with many cousins, nephews and nieces. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home-Bay View Chapel, visitation 10-11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.
