Robert F. Voelkel, Sr.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, March 4, 2024 at the age of 72. Loving husband for 45 years to Beverly (nee Henzig). Beloved father of Robert F. Jr. (Sarah) and Rochelle L. Voelkel (Jordan). Cherished grandpa of Gracie, Lillie, Abbie and Robert F. Voelkel III. Dear brother of Tom (Dean), Richard (Marlene), Mike (Jodi), Jim, Diane Voelkel and Nancy Nowak. Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Evelyn and his brothers, John and Dan Voelkel. Further survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Robert loved his family and enjoyed everyday being with them. He was a sports fan and loved watching the Bucks and the Packers. He also loved playing golf with family members and friends. He was an avid Wheel of Fortune watcher. To know Robert was to know he enjoyed going to the disco with Beverly in the 70s and dancing the night away! He will be dearly missed by many!

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke's Medical Center, University Health Services - UW-Madison, Fresenius Kidney Care for their support and the South Milwaukee School District for their kindness, love and dedication during this difficult time.

Visitation at the Funeral Home MONDAY, March 11, 2024 from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. Funeral Service at 7:00 P.M. Interment Tuesday 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery. Please meet directly inside the cemetery entrance at 10:45 A.M.
