Robert "Bob" Virgili Joined his wife, Gerry, in Heaven on Monday April 11, 2022 at age 95. Loving husband of the late Gerry Virgili. Cherished dad of Barbara Sloan, Jim Virgili, Jo Ann (Mark) Flaig, the late Nancy (Jimi) Sellars, and Jan (Paul) Grant. Beloved grandpa of Jack (Sarah) Sloan, Tom (Katie) Sloan, Michael (Neha) Sloan, Tony Virgili, Steven Flaig, and Angela Flaig. Dear great grandpa of Emily, Olivia, Penny, Harper, and Eleanor Sloan. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Nancy, and his siblings Molly, Americo, and Mary. Born in Milwaukee, he was drafted into the Army and served in WWII with his brother, Rico. Sadly, Bob lost his brother in the war but was able to return and marry his high school sweetheart. Bob and Gerry were married 71 years. Bob lived a full life that included spending time with family and friends; his career creating displays and setting up new locations for Sears and Schusters; enjoying hobbies of golfing, bowling, reading, and crossword puzzles; and taking road trips and eating out with Gerry.
