Robert Lee Povolo

Found Peace on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the age of 85. Beloved husband for 62 years of Linda (nee Stewart). Loving dad of Robert (Gina) Povolo, James (Katie) Povolo and Nick Povolo (Kelly Knoch). Cherished grandpa of Dawson Povolo and Reno Povolo; Elias Povolo and Eleanor Povolo; Jacob Knoch-Povolo and Lucas Knoch-Povolo. Dear brother of Susan (the late James) Kremer. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Reno and Olga Povolo and is also survived by other family members and friends.

Bob was born in Hermansville, Michigan and was raised in Cudahy. He was a 1959 graduate of Cudahy High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country until 1963. While stationed at George Air Force Base in Victorville, CA he married the love of his life Linda. They settled themselves in Cudahy and raised their family there. Bob worked for over 51 years at Bucyrus-Erie in South Milwaukee.

Throughout his life, Bob cherished the time he spent up north hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for how he valued his relationships with his co-workers at BE but especially the love he had for family and his willingness to help anyone in need.
