Oak Creek - Robert V. Osborne, Jr., 46, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 10, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Racine to Mary Lois (nee: Marcal) and the late Robert V. Osborne, Sr. He was married to Diane K. Jones in May of 1995 in Racine. Robert was a long time employee, office and purchasing manager of Ridgeway Manufacturing, Co. He was a charter member of the General Society of the War of 1812; former member of the Sons of the American Revolution, early member of Dungeons and Dragons; active Warrior in the Society of Creative Anachronisums, a family member of the Moritu, and a Range Officer of the Conservation Club of Kenosha. He was a lifetime member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. He also enjoyed collecting comic books and was a member of the O & E Railroad (model railroading). Survivors include his wife, Diane; his mother Mary Lois Osborne of Franksville; his sisters Consuela Osborne of Corrales, NM and Beatriz Osborne of San Francisco, CA; his brother David Osborne of Franksville; his uncle Lucien Osborne of Racine; his cousins Cynthia Osborne of Ann Arbor, MI, William V. Osborne, III of Whitewater, Dr. Virgina Osborne of Portland, Oregon, and Louise (Gregory) Banks of Warren, NJ; his father-in-law Donald Jones of Boltonville; and his special aunt Norma Warnekey of West Bend; second cousins; other relatives; and many dear friends. He was preceeded in death by his father Robert V. Osborne, Sr. and his mother-in-law Celesta (Voeks) Jones. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Landmark Chapel of Forest Home Cemetery, 2405 W. Forest Home Avenue, Milwaukee, on Saturday, January 18, 2003 from 12:00 until 3:00 PM for family and friends. Memorials to the National Arbor Day Foundation are suggested.
