Novak, Robert J. Bob Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 75. Loving husband for 53 years of Virginia (nee Baclerak). Dear father of Jeffrey (Lynn), Debra (Tim) and Daniel (Alissa). Proud grandpa of Jennifer, Kyle, Debra, Amanda, Alexander, Samuel and Caroline. Great-grandpa of Hayden and McKenzie. Brother-in-law of Jim (Peggy). Preceded in death by his parents Ed and Alvina (nee Karban), his brother Don and sister-in-law Kathy. Also survived by nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, March 15, 2018 at THE FUNERAL HOME from 4PM to 6:15PM, with a vigil service at 6:30PM. Additional visitation Friday, March 16, 2018 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC PARISH, 1720 E Norwich Ave., from 9:30AM to 10:15AM. Mass of Christian Burial to follow, at 10:30AM. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Bob spent many of his summers as a boy at Sand Bay Resort in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Later in life, he enjoyed time spent fishing and relaxing at Silver Lake in Oconomowoc with his family. Much to Virginias chagrin, at age 60 Bob acquired a Harley which he and Virginia enjoyed riding with friends Jim and Rita. Bob retired from Ampco Metal after 42 years as a machinist. Bobs family would like to extend their gratitude to Rieman Cancer Center, Ascension Hospice Group and Hospice Nurse Kay for their compassionate care. Memorials, if so desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
